Atmospheric outdoor sauna

The sauna located at the end of the old barn building is one of the oldest parts of Mattilan talo. In its gentle heat, the soul finds rest and the whole body is cleansed.

Price: 100 € for a 2-hour reservation.

Cozy indoor sauna

In the newly renovated indoor sauna at Mattilan talo, your heart rate slows down. Give yourself permission to relax and cleanse away the day’s stresses. 

You can reserve the sauna in advance by email or phone: info@mattilantalo.fi You can also make a reservation on-site if there are available sauna slots.

1-hour sauna reservation is free for guests staying with us. Without accommodation 30 €.

Small craft shop

In Mattila’s Pirtti, items handmade by the owner of the house under the TinttiGee brand are available for sale: cozy beanies, other knitted garments, reusable cotton pads, multi-purpose pouches… The selection varies, so come and have a look!

 

Pirtti

The Pirtti at Mattilan talo is a beautiful setting available for private use — perfect for meetings, workshops or small family gatherings from Thursday evening to Monday, between 4 pm and 9 pm.

The long table in the Pirtti accommodates 12 people. In addition, the space includes a sofa set, a rocking chair, an old wooden couch, and extra chairs/benches (including one baby high chair and one junior chair). An extra table can also be arranged. If needed, I can bring a large TV with an HDMI connection to the main room for presentations.

Example of meeting pricing:

Minimum price on Thursday: €200 (maximum 8 people), booking duration 2–4 hours.

  • The price includes coffee/tea service as well as sweet or savory pastries as agreed.
  • Additional participants: €15 per person (up to 20 people), €10 per person (21–30 people).

Evening snack

Before going to bed, it’s nice to enjoy a small evening snack in the cozy Pirtti at Mattila. In addition to having your snack, you can play board games, read, or simply spend time with your travel companions or other guests. The doors of Pirtti are closed for the night at 9:00 PM.

The evening snack includes, for example, bread with toppings, yogurt, fruit, as well as tea and cocoa.
